accelerate the growth of impact startups from latam

In May of last year (it seems like it was a long time ago!) they were closing a very important cycle at Semente, which was the celebration of their first group of companies formed in their own online acceleration program for impact companies, in the context of the ACELERA project. It was a nationwide program in which they worked with 11 companies from different sectors and regions of Brazil, focusing on preparing  to attract investment and design the impact thesis. The program was 100% online, they designed it in a pre-pandemic context (breaking the paradigm of that time) when doing this type of project remotely seemed impossible, but it was the way they found it to gain capillarity and internalize the scope. In the end it worked and generated for them a series of learnings and knowledge. A great achievement for them was that of the 11 businesses we accelerated, 5 raised capital; 9 were led by female CEOs and more than half were located in rural cities and outside the RIO-SP axis (more precisely, we had businesses in 10 different states). Now is the time to seek to increase the impact of Acelera in a second project.
