GoStudent was founded in Vienna in 2016 and became a unicorn in 2021, with a valuation of €1.4 bn. The startup´s digital learning platform, available in 18 countries, matches students and teachers in virtual one-on-one classrooms. GoStudent was founded by Felix Ohswald (CEO) and Gregor Müller.

 

 

 

Bitpanda

Founded in 2014 in Vienna by Eric Demuth, Paul Klanschek, and Christian Trummer, Bitpanda is one of Europe’s leading crypto currency trading platforms. In 2020, it secured one of the largest Series A fundings led by Valar Ventures, a VC backed by Peter Thiel.

 

 

 

Partium

Humai (founded in Vienna in 2010), Catchoom, and Slyce merged to create Partium, an AI-based image recognition tech for industry and retail. Partium is headquartered in Vienna with local offices in Barcelona, Philadelphia, and Nova Scotia.
